L'accident aérien de l'Iliouchine Il-62 de Chosonminhang (Air Koryo) (1983) s'est produit le 1^er juillet 1983 lorsqu'un Iliouchine Il-62M exploité par la compagnie aérienne nord-coréenne Chosonminhang (Air Koryo) s'est écrasé en terrain montagneux en Guinée en Afrique de l'Ouest alors qu'il transportait 23 personnes. L'avion venait de Pyongyang avec du fret de construction et de nombreux travailleurs, en prévision du sommet de l'Organisation de l'unité africaine de 1984 qui devait avoir lieu l'année suivante.

L'accident reste l'accident d'aviation le plus meurtrier de l'histoire de la Guinée ; il s'agit de la dixième perte opérationnelle d'un Il-62 depuis son introduction[1].

The 1983 Chosonminhang Il-62 crash occurred on 1 July 1983 when an Ilyushin Il-62M being operated by the flag carrier airline of North Korea, Chosonminhang, crashed into mountainous terrain in the West African country of Guinea. All 23 people aboard were killed. The aircraft was flying from Pyongyang with construction cargo and numerous workers ahead of the 1984 Organization of African Unity summit due to take place the following year. It remains the deadliest aviation crash in Guinean history, and was the tenth operational loss of an Il-62 since its introduction.[1]
