Der Alexandria International Airport ist ein öffentlicher Flughafen in Louisiana in den USA, der 7 km westlich der Innenstadt von Alexandria liegt. Der Flughafen wird von der „England Authority“ betrieben, die auch das gesamte Gelände der ehemaligen Militärbasis als „England Economic and Industrial Development District“ vermarktet. Trotz des Zusatzes „International“ im Namen gibt es keine internationalen Linienflüge, es werden aber Charterflüge für die US-amerikanischen Streitkräfte nach Übersee von hier durchgeführt. So sollen über Alexandria mehr militärische Charterflüge abgewickelt werden als über jeden anderen zivilen Flughafen der USA.[4]

Alexandria International Airport (IATA: AEX[2], ICAO: KAEX, FAA LID: AEX) is a public use airport located four nautical miles (5 mi, 7 km) west of the central business district of Alexandria, in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, United States.[1] The airport is operated by the England Authority, also known as the England Economic and Industrial Development District, an independent political subdivision of the State of Louisiana. Although international commercial flight operations are not conducted, charter flights for the U.S. military to international destinations are routinely conducted from the airfield with this activity including the transportation of U.S. troops to overseas locations.
