Viva Air Colombia (früher Viva Colombia) ist eine kolumbianische Billigfluggesellschaft. Sie wurde im Jahr 2008 von William Shaw in Zusammenarbeit mit der Stanford University, dem mexikanischen Busunternehmen IAMSA (Viva Aerobus), der kolumbianischen Grupo Bolívar und der Irelandia Aviation der Familie Ryan gegründet.[2]

Am 25. Mai 2012 führte die Fluggesellschaft als Viva Colombia ihren ersten Flug durch.[3] Im Jahr 2016 wurde über 3,4 Millionen Passagiere befördert. Mit Viva Air Perú gründete das Unternehmen 2016 eine Tochtergesellschaft in Peru.[4]

Am 29. April 2022 wurde bekannt gegeben, dass Avianca die Fluggesellschaft übernehmen wird.[5]

Fast Colombia S.A.S., trading as Viva Air Colombia and formerly VivaColombia, is a Colombian low-cost airline based in Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia.[2] It is a subsidiary of Irelandia Aviation and third largest airline in the country.[3] It is not legally affiliated with Mexico's VivaAerobús, a fellow low-cost carrier co-founded by Irelandia which also uses the "Viva" brand.[4]
