CMA CGM Air Cargo is the cargo airline division of the CMA CGM shipping group. The company was founded in 2021 and currently has a fleet of four Airbus A330-200Fs[1] and two Boeing 777Fs. [2] The four Airbus aircraft are operated by Air Belgium and based in Liège [3] while the two Boeing aircraft are based at Charles-de-Gaule airport in Paris. The company is currently implementing a major expansion plan to more than double its fleet, both in terms of numbers and capacity. Specifically, in November 2021 and June 2022, CMA CGM Air Cargo ordered four Airbus A350Fs[4] and two additional Boeing 777Fs[5] respectively.

In May 2022, CMA CGM, the airline's parent company signed a strategic partnership with Air France–KLM to develop their air cargo capacities together. As part of the agreement CMA CGM may also acquire a stake of up to 9% in the Franco-Dutch airline group.[6]

CMA CGM Air Cargo est une division de l'armateur CMA CGM spécialisée dans le fret aérien. Elle a été créée en 2021 avec l'achat de quatre Airbus A330-200F d'occasion dont l'exploitation a été confiée à la compagnie aérienne Air Belgium, opèrant à partir du hub de Liège (LGG/EBLG). Afin de poursuivre son développement, le groupe CMA CGM a déposé auprès de la DGAC française une demande de certificat de transporteur aérien et commandé de nouveaux appareils qui seront immatriculés en France et basés sur l'aéroport de Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle (CDG/LFPG).
