Der Militärflugplatz Lecce-Galatina liegt auf der Halbinsel Salento in der italienischen Region Apulien, rund 15 Kilometer südlich von Lecce und knapp 10 Kilometer nördlich von Galatina. Nach der Provinzhauptstadt wird er oft nur als „Militärflugplatz Lecce“ bezeichnet, oder aber auch nur nach dem etwas näher gelegenen Galatina benannt. Die Bezeichnung „Lecce-Galatina“ entspricht den geographischen Gegebenheiten und grenzt ihn zudem vom zivilen Flugplatz Lecce-San Cataldo und einigen anderen Flugfeldern in der Umgebung ab. Der Flugplatz Lecce-Galatina wird seit mehreren Jahrzehnten zur Ausbildung von Militärpiloten genutzt.

L'Aeroporto di Galatina[1] (IATA: LCC, ICAO: LIBN) è un aeroporto militare italiano situato a 15 km a sud della città di Lecce e a 7 km a nord della città di Galatina lungo la strada provinciale 362, nel territorio del comune di Galatina. La struttura, intitolata alla memoria del tenente pilota Fortunato Cesari, medaglia d'oro al valor militare. È dotata di una pista in asfalto lunga 1902 m e larga 58 m, con orientamento RWY 14-32. L'aeroporto è gestito dall'Aeronautica Militare ed in base al Decreto ministeriale del 25 gennaio 2008 pubblicato sulla Gazzetta Ufficiale del 7 marzo 2008 l'aeroporto è classificato come MOB (Main Operating Base) del primo gruppo e come tale effettua esclusivamente attività militari, non essendo aperto al traffico commerciale. Attualmente è sede del 61º Stormo e del 10º Reparto Manutenzione Velivoli.
