The airline was founded in 2009 by Chief Executive Officer and former airline pilot David Fletcher[6][7] and introduced to European operation the Embraer Phenom 100 and 300 business jets.[8] In December 2010, FlairJet delivered Europes first Phenom 300 aircraft,[citation needed] which is currently operated for commercial charter under management alongside two Phenom 100's.[needs update]
Additionally, FlairJet specializes in the acceptance and delivery of Embraer business aircraft and has, up to April 2012, accepted 12 from the Brazilian manufacturer.[8] FlairJet is also the leading European provider of Phenom 100 and 300 in-aircraft training and mentoring solutions.[9][needs update]
Following an acquisition by Marshall Aerospace,[10] FlairJet was sold to Cleveland, Ohio, based Flexjet, in August 2016.[11]
