History
After the squadron's formation in 1941 at RAF Reykjavik, Iceland it flew Northrop N-3PB Nomads on convoy escort, anti-submarine patrols, anti-shipping sorties and other operations across the North East Atlantic.[2] At the end of the war the squadron was disbanded by the RAF on 21 November 1945 and then transferred to Norwegian control as No. 330 Squadron RNoAF whose squadron number and markings they retain to this day.[2]
