A huge aircraft consisting of two hulls and powered by six engines in three nacelles in a push-pull configuration, it was based on the ANT-11, which was never built.[1] Its enormous weight severely crippled its performance, and it never proceeded beyond the experimental stage.

Die Tupolew ANT-22 (russisch Туполев АНТ-22) war ein sowjetisches Flugboot aus der Mitte der 1930er Jahre. Es war vorgesehen, sie als Langstrecken-Fernaufklärer bei der Marine einzusetzen. Letztlich wurde aber von einer Serienfertigung Abstand genommen, und die ANT-22 erschien nur als Prototyp.
